James Wilson ...
James Wilson is originally from the Gwich'in region of the Northwest Territories, but has career has taken him across Canada. He has worked with Transport Canada, Indian and Northern Affairs Canada, the Gwich'in Tribal Council, and with various northern communities and development corporations.
James has extensive experience working with First Nation governments and development corporations. He understands how First Nation communities work. Most recently, Mr. Wilson was SAO of a northern community where he worked closely with the council to implement a strategic and operational review. Before that, he led the turn around of a First Nation development corporation, taking it from insolvency to profitability in 18 months.
